Heather has been a part of our practice since 2005. She started out as a dental assistant, but in 2013, she left the “back” and became our office manager and then our COO. Heather views her coworkers and patients as family and loves coming to work every day, yes this is true! When she is not at work, she can be found riding motorcycles with her husband, Jesse, or hanging out with their three kids. However, if Heather had to pick her own hobby, it would have to be shopping!

Kim graduated from the dental assisting program at AB Tech in 2009 and has been with our office since 2013. She was a dental assistant with us for 6 years and then stepped into the role of Office Manager. She is married to her hard working husband, Nathan, and has two amazing kids, Derek and Olivia. Kim stays busy with her kids being involved in numerous sports. In her free time, she enjoys going to the lake with her family, being outdoors, and attending Atlanta Braves baseball games!

Monica has been in our office since 2014. She graduated from the dental assisting program in El Paso, Texas in 2013. She was born and raised in Hendersonville. She is very passionate about her job. She loves coming to work every day to educate patients to obtain better oral hygiene. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her three children, Destiny, Tyler, and Austin. She loves being outdoors hiking, swimming, running, and grilling out.

Professional Conversationalist, Enthusiastic Storyteller, and Unofficial Chief of Chatter. With a knack for weaving words and a passion for lively discussions, I’m the person who can turn a simple hello into a fascinating conversation. When I’m not sharing my thoughts on everything from the latest books to the quirkiest trivia, you’ll find me exploring new topics and meeting interesting people. If you’re up for a good chat, I’m always ready to dive in and keep the dialogue flowing!

Teresa is our Treatment and Financial Coordinator. She has been building friendships around our office for the last 26 years. She takes care of a little bit of everything for us, which is why you may hear her referred to as “Momma T”. Teresa goes above and beyond to see that our patients fully understand their treatment options and that we are as accommodating as possible. She has been married to her best friend Rick for 44 years now. They have 3 wonderful children that have blessed them with 4 of the best grandchildren: Tyler, Miranda, Connor and Lilee. When she is not in the office, you might find her on the soccer field cheering on her grandchildren. She enjoys baking and makes some of the best cakes we have tasted. She always enjoys treats for her birthday, November 29th and Valentine’s Day, so mark this on your calendar. If you ask any
of her co-workers she is the best to work with but can throw a “T” tantrum” now and then. Remember, you, as a patient, are her number one concern and she will make sure we do what is best for you!

Miranda was born and raised right here in Hendersonville, went to East Henderson High and is married to her husband, GW, whom she has known since kindergarten. Miranda and GW have two amazing children, Mahaylee and Michael, and they love playing baseball, softball or anything sports related. Miranda loves spending quality time with her family camping, being outdoors, traveling and playing with their three dogs, ten chickens and goats. Miranda joined our HFD family in 2021 and if you ask her what her favorite part of working here is, she would say helping patients with each step of treatment and celebrating big and small milestones with them. She strives to help patients understand their treatment plans, insurance and financial questions so they can achieve beautiful healthy smiles they love.

Introducing Sydney, our scheduling coordinator with a radiant smile and a heart full of love for her son, Cash Walker. Since joining our office in the fall of 2023, Sydney has brought her orthodontic background and a passion for patient care to ensure everything runs seamlessly. With her keen eye for detail and organizational skills, Sydney keeps appointments on track and ensures patients are attended to promptly. Beyond the office, she cherishes every moment with her loved ones, making memories to last a lifetime.

Alissa completed dental assisting at AB Tech in 2004 and joined our team in February 2021, following a break to spend quality time with her daughter, Ellie. A proud Brevard native, she enjoys baking and being with her siblings, nieces, nephews, and many cousins. She also enjoys outdoor activities with family and friends, soaking in all that the mountains provide.

Kaileigh was born and raised in Brevard, NC. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Brandon, and they have 3 beautiful daughters together; Paityn, Brylin and Raelyn. In her free time, she loves spending quality time with her family, traveling, vacationing, hiking, camping or any outdoor activity. With over 20 years in the dental field, Kaileigh has had the privilege of gaining experience in both clinical and administrative functions. This dual experience has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of a dental practice, allowing her to bridge the gap between administrative and clinical care. Her primary responsibility is reaching out to patients who may have missed their regular appointments or fallen out of touch with our practice. Through personalized outreach, she strives to understand their unique needs, address any concerns they may have, and guide them back onto the path of
optimal oral health.

Annamarie is the first smiling face you will see when walking into our office. Annamarie joined our office in 2022. She is highly organized and very personable; known for her warm demeanor and exceptional communication skills. Annamaire excels at creating a welcoming environment for both visitors and staff. She is a native to Hendersonville and graduated from North Henderson High School. She has one son, Lucas who is a car enthusist. She loves spending time with her bernedoodle, Cletus Jenkins and his best friend, Imogene. She spends her spare time going camping with her family and her friends, spending time working outside, and cheering on the Boston Red Sox and Duke Blue Devils. Her favorite part of working here is interacting with patients and making sure your visit is welcoming each time you walk into our
office.

Sara was born and raised in Hendersonville, NC. She is a busy mom to two outgoing boys, Kane and Tucker. She spends her time assistant coaching her sons soccer team, and attending her other sons football games and track meets. In her spare time she’s chasing the sun at the Lake with her husband, Mickey.

Lacie has been with our office since 2015. Dental hygiene has been an interest of hers since she was a small child. Her favorite part about being a hygienist is the relationships she builds while educating patients about oral health. She is married to her best friend Justin. They have three children, Lane, Caroline, and Bonnie who keep them very busy when she is not in the office. Her family enjoys “glamping” every chance they get! She is an avid runner and loves spending time with her friends and family.

Melissa has been with our office since 2003 and in the dental hygiene field since 1991. Melissa feels like her sweet patients have been her second family for awhile now and she treats each and every one of them like family! She loves educating and providing the best and most comfortable cleaning possible while laughing and having fun in the process. She has three children, a sweet daughter in law and a wonderful husband Brian whom she married in 1995. When she is not at work, she loves to relax, get involved in the community, and go on mission trips.

Shelby was born and raised here in the small town of Hendersonville. She graduated from Dental Hygiene School at Greenville Tech and joined our team as a hygienist in 2019. Shelby loves making connections with her patients and putting them at ease when in the dental chair. The majority of her free time is spent with her family. She married her best friend Mitchell in 2022, and they are expecting their first child in September 2024. Shelby has a love for animals, especially her two golden doodles, Maisy and Indi. She loves the outdoors and is happiest when at the lake or the beach.

Marlee grew up in Polk County. She graduated from AB Tech’s Dental Hygiene program and joined the office in the summer of 2022. Marlee’s favorite part of being a hygienist is knowing that she is giving back to her community as well as building lifelong relationships. When she is not in the office she loves to spend time outside with her dog, Athena. She also enjoys reading and listening to true crime podcasts.

Erin grew up in Rutherfordton. She moved to Greenville SC for Dental Hygiene school and lived there for nine years. She missed being closer to the mountains, so she relocated to Hendersonville in 2021. She has been working in our practice since March of 2023. She loves all things outdoors. You may find her camping with family on the weekends, hiking in DuPont, or swimming in the Davidson River with her two dogs, son and her husband Matt.

Kristine Barringer is a native of Hendersonville who decided to settle down there with her husband and children. Having recently graduated as a dental hygienist, she is passionate about staying up-to-date with her education and providing her patients with the highest standard of care. She enjoys educating her patients and building relationships with them along the way. In her free time, you can find Kristine and her family traveling, at the lake, and hosting family game nights with her siblings and their families.

Alejandra has lived in Hendersonville for over 22 years but she is originally from Costa Rica. She loves both countries and travels to see family as often as possible. She is fluent in both Spanish and English. She has been a dental assistant since 2015 and she enjoys every day of it. She enjoys hiking and spending time with her husband and daughter and their dog Aria.

Marjie graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at AB Technical College in 1979. She has been with our office since 1998. A native of Hendersonville and a proud HHS Bearcat, Marjie enjoys working in her hometown with a lot of familiar faces and meeting new ones. She enjoys reading, swimming, travel, water color, shopping and walking with friends . Marjie has been married for forty years to her husband, John. They have two children, Stephanie and Drew, along with grandchildren, Tristan, Ava, Dawson and Wyatt.
Three dogs, Gracie, Lily and Claire complete the crew.

Cindy has been a dental assistant since 2004. She worked in pediatrics for 6 1⁄2 years. Since then, she has been in general dentistry. She has been with our office since 2017. Cindy and her husband, Jerry, have six children and ten grandchildren. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, cooking, and fishing.

Brooke is from Travelers Rest, SC. She has a beautiful baby girl named Blakely. During her free time, she loves to be outdoors or by the pool. Summer is her favorite season. Brooke is the only girl and has five brothers! She started working here first as a hygiene assistant and then trained to become a dental assistant, which she absolutely loves! She loves her job and her coworkers and loves being part of this family!

Julia joined our team in 2020. She is a native of Hendersonville, NC. She graduated from North Henderson High School.Julia is a dedicated dental assistant with a passion for oral health and patient care. Balancing a fulfilling career with the joys of parenthood. Julia is a proud mom to three wonderful children. When not brightening smiles, the dental office. She finds joy in spending quality time with friends, whether it’s exploring new places or simply enjoying each other’s company over a cup of coffee.

Teresa was born and raised in Brevard, NC. She is married to her wonderful husband, Vernon, and they have three daughters and one granddaughter. She joined our team in 2019 and has grown to learn so many aspects of the dental world! When she is not at work, she likes to read, jog and to spend time with her granddaughter. She also has a small petting zoo in her backyard!

Taylor was born and raised in Brevard, North Carolina. She graduated from Brevard High School and then attended AB Tech, where she graduated from the dental assistant program. She is the youngest of three siblings and she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Bradley, her family and friends. She also enjoys cookouts, sports, and the outdoors. She loves her job because she enjoys getting to know her patients and hearing their stories. She truly loves her HFD family!

Jessica joined HFD in May of 2022. Jessica prefers to go by her nickname Jett, which was given to her by her parents when she was a small child. Jett is a graduate of HFD’s dental assisting class (ADAA) and is currently enrolled in classes at AB tech for dental hygiene. Jett married her husband Mac in September of 2020 and had their daughter Isla in March of 2023. When not at work Jett enjoys spending time with her family and playing with her dog, Peter.

Avery joined Hendersonville Family Dental in May of 2023. She was born and raised in Arden, North Carolina. She loves her work family and enjoys getting to know the team and our wonderful patients. Avery enjoys spending time at the beach, snowboarding, and just being outdoors. She also enjoys spending time with her family.

Stephanie was born and raised in Hendersonville, NC with her brother Bryan. Her parents are from Mexico and she is fluent in spanish. She graduated from dental assisting school from AB Tech in 2016. In 2018 she married the love of her life, Angel and now have two beautiful daughters, Maelie and Mila and a dog named Daver. She loves to travel around the world with her family and learn about different cultures and trying new foods. Stephanie joined our practice in 2023 and loves being able to help the doctors create smiles that patients love.

Rachel has lived in North Carolina the majority of her life, however, she still calls West Virginia home. If you need to find her, you can usually find her somewhere around town cheering for her boys, Owen and Eli, at one sport or another. She has been married to Heath for over 18 years. They love to travel together as a family and cruising is their absolute favorite. Rachel joined Hendersonville Family early in 2022. She currently makes our Night Guards and Retainers as well as taking care of all of our outgoing lab cases. She enjoys having the lab organized and knowing right where to find everything that the assistants and Doctors might need.

Esteban was born and raised in Hendersonville, North Carolina. He enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his parents, two younger siblings, and two dogs, Chico and Crystal. Esteban is not only the oldest in his family but also the oldest grandchild. He graduated from Henderson County Early College. In his free time, he enjoys going to the movie theater.
